Grind House New Year Update!

Hello Backers!

 Apologies for being a little late, but we wanted to wish all of you a happy, safe, and healthy New Year!

Unfortunately, we were getting bed rest, drinking a lot of water, and keeping warm with chicken noodle soup. sickness took us out of commission for the holidays, we are back fully recovered and excited to burst into 2024 knowing that Grind House will be reaching your hands this year!

MANUFACTURING UPDATE

Our manufacturer, Longpack, has been working with us to tweak some things that came up in test prints. We fixed them and entered the printing queue. When we reviewed the samples, we decided to add a plastic tray to the core box. This is a free upgrade for you, of course. We didn't like the idea of the components floating around and possibly getting damaged after it was punched, and you wanted to take it to a friend's house for a game. Preview below. 

So if all goes well with production - we should be shipping out of manufacturer by March, freighting the games through April and you should have your games in your hand by around May. This is a conservative estimate (February is Chinese New Year so they take nearly the whole month of from work)

Grind House, Pledge Manager update!

Hello Backers!

To those of you who filled out your pledge manager during the smoke test. THANK YOU, this was vital in making sure everything's is working properly. Now that we have completed that step, the pledge managers will be open to everyone. Emails will be sent out in waves between today / tomorrow. If you haven't received an email by Friday please check your spam folder, and if its not there email us at [email protected] and we will make sure you are taken care of. 

I am going to copy some information from the previous update for those that may have missed it. 

Be on the look out for an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like.

A few things to be aware of, there is an FAQ you can check out by clicking HERE that may answer questions you have. Once you do get your survey invite, If AFTER you enter your address your shipping cost is over a hundred dollars please reach out to us via email at [email protected] it is possible we missed entering your country and that is defaulting to ROW prices. There are some countries due to world events we may not be able to ship to at this time.

Grind House Update, Pledge Managers are coming!

Hello Backers! 

You read the title! The pledge managers are coming!

Right now we are currently under Setup review, this means Backerkit is reviewing everything and making sure there are no major errors! Once we get the approval which should be in the next 24 hours, we will conduct a smoke test. This is where a portion of pledge manager invites (%10) are sent out so we can make sure everything is working properly for everyone.

What does this mean? 

Be on the look out for an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

Grindhouse! October Update

Hello Backers! 

The Printing Process continues!!!  We're almost there...and few clarifications...

Just a few quick things we want to update you on. First, the pledge manager will be coming out very soon! We will post another update when it goes live and have all the details. 

Second, printing is going smooth, I wanted to clarify something in the previous update. We shared pics, and one of the things we stated in some of the captions was "will be adjusted". I realize this created a little confusion and I would like to clarify. The sample we showed, we had already reviewed and provided feedback to the printer and that gave the green light for printing what was correct and they adjusted what needed to be adjusted. The pic below shows the adjusted expansion box before and after. 

Just wanted to clear that up, because we were not clear in that process. :)
